Issue 9
JÓN Issue 9 - PIN
With cover stars and interviews with The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar, our ultimate 90s Pin-Up James Van Der Beek, and the Brit hottie from HBO's Looking, Russell Tovey.
JÓN is the TKO - our brand new issue 9, the PIN issue, is inspired by wrestling, super hot desert summers, pin boards and bowling -
get ready to be floored.
With 5 mega celebrity features and 15 mens fashion editorials shot by our super teams around the globe, our newest issue is the most expensive (looking), super issue ever. Spanning 260 pages, our new issue is printed 90s style, so its a heavy ink extravaganza, with gritty contrasty stories from Hollywood to Hackney.
JÓN editors Leigh and Stephen flew to LA to chat with The Big Bang Theory superstar Kunal Nayyar about his new book, his astronomic rise to fame on the worlds most popular TV show, and his dog Boba Fett, alongside an epic fashion story with Kunal.
We got taught how to throw a punch (fake, of course) by our 90s superhero James Van Der Beek, as he told us about working on the new CSI Cyber and chit chatted about GIFs, meme's and the Internet. We shot James looking dapper hanging out with us downtown.
We went to the pub with star of HBO's Looking, the charming Russell Tovey to discuss the show and his recent trip down under to film BBC's Banished. Russell dons some 90s gear for our super hot shoot with him!
We've also got interviews and shoots with two more awesome guys, Harry Potter and Pitch Perfect actor Freddie Stroma and the very cute (and very Californian) Casey Deidrick.
Issue nine also features fashion stories from our mega photographers from around the globe, including Justin Violini, B. Charles Johnson, Joseph Wolfgang Ohlert, Richard Yap, JC Pinheiro, Riley Stewart, Brent Chua, Thomas Vording, Taylor Hall O'Brien, Daniel Rodrigues, Thurstan Redding, Mikey White and Packard Stevens.
JÓN has a limited release and sells out exceptionally fast - don't miss out.
JÓN is a 260 page, independent menswear magazine produced in London with contributors from around the globe. With no advertising and a select print run and distribution, JÓN is a quarterly publication to treasure and tote around town.
